At that point, and currently, I became 100% financially responsible for the re-financed mortgage loan. The original loan with myself and my brother is closed. <br><br>My brother is currently having financial problems and I think he should file Chapter 7. Would the re-finance in August of 2008 be considered "hiding assets"? I'm concerned about liens on the new mortgage loan/property. My brother and I were both on a mortgage loan until I re-financed to a new mortgage loan in August 2008.
